Women in Life Transitions
How do YOU Empower Yourself?
Life transitions happen naturally, whether we are expecting them or not. Sometimes they are exciting, like getting married or having a baby. But often life transitions are not seen as desirable. As a result, they may completely feel like they derail our chance to be happy. This can happen to the point where we feel stressed, confused, or anxious, or we even lose confidence in the world or ourselves. How do we climb out of these challenging states of mind to realize a state of peace and joy? How do we align ourselves with our purpose and meaning once again or possibly for the first time in our life?
Face-to-Face or Online Counselling
Where Women Access Their Inner Strength
Countryside Counselling is a private practice based in Sooke, B.C. I offer counselling sessions locally, both in person and online for women who are struggling with life changes and transitions. It is common to feel overwhelmed or that life has lost all meaning during times of transitions. It is also common to want to resist or control the feelings that come up for us. My goal is to help you gain clarity and understanding around the fear and resistances you may be having to these changes in your life. Together we can harness the energy that keeps you stuck in a place of pain. We can help you recapture a sense of well-being.
“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.” – Eckhart Tolle

“I sought out Donna’s counselling skills because I could sense her kind, warm, truthful demeanour. I’m glad I followed my senses because she proved to be an excellent counsellor with strong therapeutic skills. She was able to hold my difficult emotions while at the same time seeing my potential to reach new levels of caring for myself and in relationship with others.” – Anonymous, Relationship transition
